Excelsior Housing Services to deliver Disability Accommodation in Dubbo and Orange
From 1 February 2021, Westhaven will transfer the ownership and operational management of their housing services to Excelsior Housing Services.
Excelsior Housing Services is a new Disability Accommodation Organisation providing accessible and affordable housing options to people with a disability. Westhaven is the founder of Excelsior Housing Services
Westhaven will continue to provide support in these homes.
For people living in Westhaven homes, there will be no day-to-day change.
Between February and April, Excelsior Housing Services will contact you (or your guardian) to sign an Accommodation Agreement. This Agreement will replace your existing Westhaven Occupancy Agreement.

Why is Westhaven making this change?
This change will support choice and control. It means that participants living in a house can vote to change the Support provider if they are not happy with their support.
This change also means that Excelsior Housing Services will provide professional housing services to people living in Disability Accommodation.
Will I need to move house because of this change?
You will not need to move house, but you will need to sign a new accommodation agreement with Excelsior Housing Services.
Will Westhaven continue to provide supports?
There will be no change to support. Westhaven will continue to provide support to people living in the home.
