He studied at Charles Sturt University in Western NSW, graduating with a Bachelor of Business degree in 2003 and a Graduate Certificate in Commerce in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Matthew\u2019s areas of interest and expertise include strategy, risk management, road safety, professional ethics, and industrial relations. He combines an extensive background in corporate governance and business leadership with a demonstrated commitment to furthering the interests of regional and remote communities across NSW.<\/p>\n<p>A recipient of various awards and honours, Matthew was named Bathurst\u2019s most outstanding business leader for 2017\/2018, and shortlisted as a Finalist in the same category at the 2018 Western NSW Business Awards. In 2022, Matthew\u2019s 20-year contribution to the Rotary Youth Driver Awareness (RYDA) program was recognised by Rotary International and Road Safety Education (Australia &amp; NZ), and 2023 saw Matthew\u00a0 inducted as a Bathurst Living Legend.<\/p>\n<p>Matthew is married to Jessica with whom he shares three daughters.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Matthew hails from Bathurst NSW and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD).
