From 1 February 2021,\u00a0 Westhaven will transfer the ownership and operational management of their housing services to Excelsior Housing Services.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Excelsior Housing Services is a new Disability Accommodation Organisation providing accessible and affordable housing options to people with a disability. Westhaven is the founder of Excelsior Housing Services<\/span><\/p>\n

Westhaven will continue to provide support in these homes.<\/b><\/h3>\n

For people living in Westhaven homes, there will be no day-to-day change.<\/span><\/p>\n

Between February and April, Excelsior Housing Services will contact you (or your guardian) to sign an Accommodation Agreement. This Agreement will replace your existing Westhaven Occupancy Agreement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Why is Westhaven making this change?<\/b><\/h3>\n

This change will support choice and control. It means that participants living in a house can vote to change the Support provider if they are not happy with their support.<\/span><\/p>\n

This change also means that Excelsior Housing Services will provide professional housing services to people living in Disability Accommodation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Will I need to move house because of this change?<\/b><\/h3>\n

You will not need to move house, but you will need to sign a new accommodation agreement with Excelsior Housing Services.<\/span><\/p>\n

Will Westhaven continue to provide supports?<\/b><\/h3>\n

There will be no change to support. Westhaven will continue to provide support to people living in the home.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
