Here is how it usually runs.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>1. Check your plan.<\/strong> SDA is a specific line in an NDIS plan. If it is already there, note your design category and location \u2014 you can start looking now.<\/li><li><strong>2. No SDA in your plan yet?<\/strong> Talk to your Support Coordinator or LAC about a home-and-living assessment. Evidence from allied health professionals about your housing needs is central to this step.<\/li><li><strong>3. Find homes that fit.<\/strong> Search by town, framework and design category, and shortlist the ones that suit your life \u2014 location, co-residents, and support arrangements all matter as much as the building.<\/li><li><strong>4. Enquire and visit.<\/strong> A good provider will show you through, introduce the household where relevant, and answer funding questions without pressuring you.<\/li><li><strong>5.
